Espresso machine cleaning made easy !

First of all you need a blank or blind filter basket like this one.

It has no holes in and forces the pressure back up the group when running the water through.

Then put some Puly Caff in the filter basket when it is sat in the coffee handle, or portafilter.

You do not need that much only about half a sachet or a tablespoons worth.

Place the coffee handle or portafilter into the espresso machine.

As if you were going to make an every day espresso drink.

Now start the machine as normal.

You want to run the group for about 20 seconds.

When you stop the group from running you will see some foam coming from the waster deposit exhaust.

You should wait for about 40 seconds to let the foam from the Puly Caff come through..

You should keep running the group for 20 seconds at a time until you see that all the Puly Caff foam has gone and you are running only clear water through the machine.

You can see how the Puly Caff looked to start with when it was coming through, that's is all the brown gooey stuff in the drip tray !!.

If your machine has not been done for a long time you may need to keep doing this for up to half an hour !!.

Remember even when the water is running clear, you should run it at least one more time for good luck.

So now you can get back to pulling the great espresso shots with the good crema.

You should backflush your machine as above without the powder once every day and always use the Puly Caff once a week.

If you want great tasting and smelling espresso shots and good cappuccino, you know what to do.

You will even notice a difference in the crema when you backflush regularly, it will be darker like it's meant to be.

All this was done with just half a sachet of Puly Caff.

If you have never used it before you may want to think about sorting it out right now, after all you can see what came out of this machine and this one is flushed on a regular basis !!

For regular users of coffee machines cleaning requires a fair amount of powder, you may wish to buy a bigger tub as opposed to sachets the tubs come with 900G of powder which should last most people a year !

Remember there is no alternative that works as well, Puly Caff is the fastest dissolving and hardest working espresso cleaner in existence.
